My apologies for the lack of predictions for these games as I must have killed a few too many brain cells on New Year’s Eve and I totally spaced on doing predictions.
WW 90 RF 68
You are not going to beat many teams who shoot 62% from the floor and if that team is WW, your chances of winning move to slim to none. That was what the Falcons faced on Saturday. A hot shooting team who has the most talent in the conference. WW shot 62% from the floor, 53% from three, but only 46% from the line, that’s kind of interesting.
The ‘Ville 71 Stout 55
This was only a four point game at the half, but the Pioneers came out hot in the second half and put the game away. My guess is that the Stout players were too mesmerized with Mike Shaw’s multi-colored mouth guard and that’s why he was able to put up 27 points.
Lax 84 Sup 58
If there was any doubt that D Hill is the straw that stirs the Jackets drink, the doubt is long gone after this game. Lax showed Sup the door, leading 50-28 at half. Lax is damn tough and Sup needs Hill back in a big way.
StP 74 Osh 65
Another great game between these two comes down to Point just having a few more weapons than Osh this season. Point showed their depth with all starters scoring in double digits.
EC 76 St. Scholastica 66
All I have to say about this one is, the tribe has spoken!
