Wow, just like that the season is over. Unreal. I can't be all that upset considering the WIAC teams lost to arguably the best 3 teams in the nation this weekend and all 3 games went to the wire. The bracket gurus were not kind to the WIAC.
I was at the St. Thomas v. Point game. Great atmosphere, great defense, both teams were exhausted at the end. Home court advantage was the difference in the game. It gave St Thomas the extra boost they needed. Sad to see Khalifa, Beamish, and Rortvedt end their careers on that note.
Another great season none the less. I thank everyone who read my random babblings again this season. It was fun.
Early prediction for next season, watch out for Tony Mane. He will be on a mission to stick it to every team who didn't vote for him as an all conference player.

Platteville was close. There were many calls made against both sides that shouldn't have been called, along with a call that was made that doesn't even exist in the rule book. This game didn't belong this early in the tourney. All 3 of the WIAC teams should have not played those teams. The brackets had them meet early when they should have met in the elite 8, if not the final four. What was the NCAA thinking when making the brackets?
D3 brackets are based on location so in this case all the midwestern teams got punished because they are all good. It is too bad it worked out this way, but I guess that's the breaks.
Like everything else, I will blame it on the economy.
You coming back for another season Stro Show?
Hey Point Special, you bet I am back, but maybe not better than ever! ;)
